1. What is it going to cost me to get my books done properly?
The cost of bad bookkeeping is higher than you realize. You can not afford to ignore this area of your business, though many small business owners do. Most businesses do not need a full-time bookkeeper, but instead of trying to do it yourself, outsourcing your bookkeeping really pays off.
The cost will depend on the nature of your business, the number of transactions and the services that you choose to outsource to us. We offer hourly and flat fee service billing options.
2. Why outsource and not just do it in-house using off-the-self software?

4. How long will it take to get started with JK Bookkeeping Services?
We would like to say right away but it depends on the state of your current books and the complexity of your business. Normally, we would get started right away (in a couple of days) but the complete transition could take a few weeks.
5. What software can I use?
QuickBooks Online is our accounting platform for services, but if you have QuickBooks Desktop or other accounting softwares we can assist and manage moving your financial information to this platform. We offer Dropbox client folders for document storage, but also support client preferences of Google docs, OneDrive, Hubdoc and most any other document platform that can be shared.
Depending on the software and the type of access/control that you require, you may have to provide us with the software license(s).
6. What about the data? How secure is it? Who owns it?
All data that we host will be saved and transferred securely. Only authorized people will have access to it at anytime. The data is yours and will remain yours. You can download it anytime that you want.
7. Do you work with my CPA?
We work very closely with CPA’s to ensure that the information you need is on hand at anytime. Our dedication to understanding your business and maintaining your books and service orientated approach to business has let to many CPA’s outsourcing some of their services for clients to us.
8. Who do I contact if I have any questions?
You can always email us with any questions that you may have. We will reply to your request at our earliest convenience. If it is critical, you can always call us.
9. Do you work with or for CPAs?
As mentioned earlier, we consider CPAs as our partners. We feel they find tremendous value in our work and the business insight that we provide to our customers. We work with CPAs in many different ways.
10. I haven't done my books for a long time. Do you provide catch-up services?
